Teams and Winners
The winners of the inaugural Madtown Scrumdown 15s Rugby Tournament was the combined team of the Columbus Coyotes with members of the St. Louis Crusaders helping to fill out the side. The format for this year was a four team round robin. The champions had a strong first win of the day against the combined Columbus Kodiaks and Milwaukee Beer Barons team followed by a close win against the Minotaurs. Their final match against the Minneapolis Mayhem saw the champions hold on through a late game surge from the Mayhem to win the Madtown Scrumdown.
